Dr. Jonathan Spencer CB – Independent Member
Former Director General at the Departments of Trade and Industry, and Constitutional Affairs and member of the Administrative Justice and Tribunals Council
A former Director General at the DTI and DCA until 2005, Jonathan is now a public policy consultant. He also holds a number of non–executive Board positions, including membership of the Administrative Justice and Tribunals Council, the Solicitors Regulation Authority, and the East Kent University Hospitals Trust. He is a company director, and in January 2009 becomes chairman of the Church of England Pensions Board.
