Employment Tribunals

Corporate users who wish to submit multiple claims |
The Employment Tribunals are judicial bodies who determine disputes between employers and employees over employment rights. Our website provides information about the tribunal's procedures and gives guidance on how you make or respond to a claim.
If you are not sure that your complaint is one that an Employment Tribunal can deal with, contact the ETS public enquiry line on 08457 959 775 or Acas on 08457 474747 who will be able to help.
Making or Responding to a claim
- If you wish to complete a Claim or a Response, please download version 6.1 to your PC ET1 Claim Form or ET3 Response Form.
- In order to benefit from the full functionality of the form please save it to your PC before using it.
- Please do not post or fax a second copy of the form to us but keep a copy for your records.
To use the form you must have the free Adobe Reader version 8 installed on your computer. If you need to download the Adobe Reader click here.
Once you have downloaded the form onto your computer please use the blue tabs on the home page of the form to:
- save a part or fully completed form;
- email the form to another person who will be able to make amendments to it and email it back to you; or
- print a copy of the form.
When you have completed the form return to the Home page by clicking on the blue box on the last page.
Please send it to the tribunal office by clicking on the red 'Submit form to ET' tab.
You will not be able to submit your form if you have not completed all the required information;
any missing information will be highlighted in yellow and must be completed before your form can be successfully submitted.
Once submitted your form will be forwarded to the tribunal office which deals with the postcode of the place where you worked.
Once you have submitted your form you will receive an online confirmation receipt containing a unique reference number.
Users who submit their forms through the website using either version of the ET1 or ET3 can be sure it reaches the office far quicker than by other methods.
More detailed guidance about the downloadable forms is available here.
