Employment Tribunals are independent judicial bodies which determine disputes relating mainly to individual employment rights.

Employment Appeal Tribunal (EAT)

The Employment Appeal Tribunal is a Superior Court of Record dealing mainly with appeals against Employment Tribunal decisions.

Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)

The DTI is the Governement department responsible for ETS. The DTI's Web site offers a range of information for consumers, small businesses, employees or anyone with an interest in the world of work and, many others.

Advisory Conciliation and Arbitration Service (Acas)
www.acas.org.uk
Acas provides advice and information on employment legislation,good practice and procedures in employee relations. The Acas website has information from its own range of publications plus contract plus contract details for regional offices and enquiry lines.

Information Asset Register

This information Asset Register(IAR) is a register of unpublished information held by the Employment Tribunal. it consists of information or collections of information, held electronically or in hard copy, which have (usually) not been published or made publicly available.

The IAR does not provide direct access to the information holdings themselves. It is a means of alerting the public to the existence of the unpublished information and who to contact.Request for information from these collections are still subject to normal restrictions on disclosure.Requests for the information will be dealth with in accordance with the Code of Practice on Access to Government Information.
